Privacy Policy
This policy describes what happens to personal data when you use this website or write to us. It describes what this website actually does.

| In force since | 18 August 2026 |
1. What this website does not do
We state this first because it is the largest part of the answer:
- This website does not set cookies and does not use local storage or any comparable technique for storing information on your device.
- This website uses no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising tags and no visitor-measurement service of any kind.
- This website loads no resources from third-party servers. All pages, styles and images are served from hasidav.org itself, so browsing here does not disclose your visit to any other company.
- This website has no contact form, no registration, no user accounts and no login. There is nowhere on it for you to submit personal data.
- We do not sell, rent or trade personal data, and we do not use personal data for advertising or profiling.
2. Server log files
Like any web server, the server that delivers this website records each request in a log file. Each entry can contain your IP address, the date and time, the address of the page requested, the HTTP status code, the number of bytes sent, the referring page if your browser sends one, and your browser's user-agent string.
These logs exist to keep the service running and secure: to diagnose faults, to detect and stop attacks and abuse, and to confirm that the site is reachable. We do not use them to build profiles of visitors and we do not try to identify individual people from them.
The lawful basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in operating a secure and functioning website. Log entries are kept for a limited period for those purposes and are then deleted or rotated out; they are not archived for long-term analysis.
3. If you write to us
If you send us an e-mail, we receive and store what you chose to send: your e-mail address, your name if you give it, and the content of your message, together with any attachments. We use it to answer you and to handle the matter you raised, and we keep the correspondence for as long as the matter and our record-keeping obligations require.
The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries addressed to us and, where the correspondence concerns participation in our activities, the performance of that relationship. Please do not send us sensitive personal data by e-mail unless it is genuinely necessary for the matter.
4. Who else can see the data
We do not disclose personal data to third parties except in the following cases:
- Our technical operator. This website and the associated e-mail service are operated and administered on our behalf by IT Enterprise Solution s.r.o., company ID (IČO) 28389701, Czech Republic, which acts as our processor and may access server logs and mail storage strictly for the purpose of running and securing the service.
- Where the law requires it. We disclose data if we are obliged to do so by a competent authority or a court, or where it is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Because our technical operator is established in the Czech Republic and the association is established in Israel, the data described here may be processed in the European Union and in Israel. Israel is recognised by the European Commission as providing an adequate level of protection for personal data.
5. How we keep data secure
The website is served only over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and our e-mail service uses transport encryption. Access to the server, to its log files and to the mailboxes is limited to the named technical operator and to the association's own contact person, is protected by individual credentials, and is not shared. Servers are kept patched and access to administrative interfaces is restricted.
6. How long we keep data, and deletion
Server log entries are kept only for the operational and security purposes described in section 2, for a limited period, and are then rotated out and deleted; they are not archived for long-term analysis. E-mail correspondence is kept for as long as the matter it concerns is open and for as long afterwards as our record-keeping obligations as a registered association require, and is deleted thereafter.
You can ask us at any time to delete personal data we hold about you by writing to yehuda.hasdo@hasidav.org. We will do so unless we are required by law to keep it, in which case we will tell you which obligation prevents deletion and for how long.
7. Your rights
You may ask us what personal data we hold about you and receive a copy of it; ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate; ask us to delete it; ask us to restrict how we use it; and object to processing that we base on our legitimate interest. Where the law gives you a right to data portability, you may exercise that too.
Write to yehuda.hasdo@hasidav.org and we will respond. If you consider that we have handled your personal data unlawfully, you may complain to the competent supervisory authority — in Israel, the Privacy Protection Authority (הרשות להגנת הפרטיות); in the European Union, the data protection authority of the country where you live.
8. Children
This website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children through it. Where minors take part in our courses, that is arranged directly with them and their parents or guardians and is not handled through this website.
9. Mobile applications
Where the association publishes a mobile application, the data that the application collects and how it is used are described in the application's own privacy disclosure, published in the relevant app store listing and, where required, as a supplement to this policy. This policy as it stands describes the website and our e-mail correspondence; it does not, by itself, describe any application.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change what we do, we change this page and update the date below. We do not change it retroactively, and we do not silently start collecting data that this page says we do not collect.
